This is a picture that was in my essay What was I thinking? It's one of my favorites so I'm showing it here. Zoe and I were waiting in line at the Mukilteo ferry. This is Ivar's Fish Bar. I ate a lot of fish and chips, french fries and ice cream over the years served over that counter.
What was I thinking?
The American way is “Only too much is enough”. This has certainly been true of digital cameras and megapixels. At one time pro cameras had three megapixels and they were just fine. The pros loved them. Then it was six, then 12, then 20, then 40, 100, 150. Is it all really necessary? What is just right for enough? A recent find got me thinking about this. I recently watched a YouTube video extolling the virtues of the first Olympus Micro Four Thirds camera, the Pen E-P1. The Pen E-P1 came out in 2009. I bought mine in 2011 but...

Waiting to pick up groceries at the Star Store in Langley so I took a quick look around and there was this pissing chair. Couldn't pass that up. I had my Olympus Pen Mini E-PM-2 with the Olympus 15mm bodycap lens.
